Cleaning carb jets

My R1 wont idle now and i think it's more than likely due to the carb jets gumming up again.

What can i clean them with or soak them in to clean them out properly?

Is there a cleaning solvent?

Maybe brake cleaner would do it?

Cheers

Carb cleaner . The aerosol type is good for spraying down the carbs while the engine is running and for firing on the parts when you disassemble them. From what I can see the main ingredient is acetone so if you get some of that and soak the jets then blow them down it should clean them out. Cellulose thinners might be a good substitute.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
