Is that a carefully concealed weight lifting belt???
I hope that fuel tank is empty or you might end up with a thumb shape poking out your stomach...

Be careful. I was reading Practical Classics the other day about someone renovating a VW camper bus. In the process of rebuilding it he had to have
three hernia operations....
DOH!

No tricks, He just picked it up. He's an old cycling mate who used to be on the British sprint squad so knows his way around the gym but
hasn't done a dead lift for a couple of years.
He came around to show off his TVR Griffith 500 (just visable in the background) and its new loud exhaust. Couldn't hear it over the R1
though!
Got an invite to join a group of his mates in TVR's, Porker's, Elise's and a Farrari going to the 'ring next May. So
there's now a new deadline. At least I'm onto bodywork now.

i wouldnt fancy lifting it like that, having the bar in front of me would definately upset my back. Stick a pair of grips on so you could grab it
better, id have a go
