Got one pair of bones on
Bit of a slow build, but got front bones the other day, so thought I'd try and get them on. Read the posts and got the 22mm offset. Bit tight
for the shock tho.
Wont let me upload the pic, says its too big. Have to look in my pics, it let me upload it there.

They do look like stubby little chaps at the top, I have to agree a bit tight for the shock.
Before you proceed it would probally be worth while buying or borrowing some shocks, alternatively make a 2 1/2" roll of cardboard tube the
correct length and see how close it gets.
Also you could drop the rear upright back towards the driver at the top by an inch to land the bracket in the middle.

I've got an old coilover i tried earlier. I might cut the bottom bracket off the wishbone and move it backwards slightly.

I used a program called Pixresizer to change the size of your image to suit locostbuilders. It can be downloaded
HERE and is very simple to use...

Not a good idea I,m afraid, you will just increase the leverage on the arm needing a stronger spring and loading the inside bush which is not good.
As you are now, ratio 5:1
......V
0-----------------chassis
What will happen, ratio 3:1
..........V
0------------------chassis
The ideal is this, hardly loading the bone
.v
0------------------Chassis
I would make a new top wishbone which is longer, ie less thread on the TRE showing, just a couple of turms for the lock nut to make more space.
Just a quick thought, are they sierra top bones ? cortina bones would be longer.
