1st drive :-) ........ 2nd drive :-(

Well DVLA finally pulled there finger out and I managed to get a registration number on thursday, got some plates on Fri and went for my 1st drive, All I can say is WOW, the car performed great.

Anyway, went to Demon thieves on Sat to get some new side mirrors, all was going great until 3 miles from home, then the front offside wheel locked up, argh..!!! Pulled over and checked everything and found the bearing had failed, after trailering the car home and pulling it apart I found that the outer bearing had failed and welded itself to the front stub axle. Now I have to wait until Tue to speak to Raw to get new axle, so p**sed off because of all sun and was planning a trip to the coast today.

Look at it this way, at least it happened while you were close to home not miles away.

Hope you get it sorted.
