Desmo Locost.

What are the pitfalls one is likely to encounter building a Duke powered locost? Has someone built one?
I love the throbbing sound of a desmo Ducati!

Do a search under the username ' Spunky'. This guy built a Honda SP1 powered car. Ok, not a Ducati, but a bike V twin in a car. Some of the issues may be the same.

Gorgeous bikes, my brother-in-law has one in Oz. Main problem would be running for more than 100 miles without facing machanical bills of £500.

The throbbing sound of a Duke just does something to me. Even the word *Desmodromic* makes me go all squishy in the nether regions...Excuse me while I reach for a tissue.

I have to agree with Dusty, Ducatis seem to have a poor reputation for reliability even in the bikes, particularly clutch reliability, and thats presicesly the bit you'll be stressing much more in the car.
