I went with a Barnett spring conversion like this:

Fluke Motorsport seem to be about the cheapest (at ~£110), its the "belt n braces" option but also the most expensive.

The other alternatives seem to be to double up on the diaphragm spring or order a stronger race spring from Yamaha if you can get hold of one.

Standard clutch plates are fine though, as good as anything so I'd just uprate the pressure first and see how it goes. It might be worth taking out the plates whilst its in bits though and check the steels haven't blue'd and the frictions havent cooked.

Chris

Both doubling up springs and the Barnett conversion seem to work, but the Barnett is meant to give a bit more of a linear pedal feel.
As I said though, check the state of the current plates whichever way you go because unless its not been slipping much at all, its quite likely that the plates will be less than 100% healthy so adding an additional spring / barnett conversion will only mask the problem for a short time.

I ordered barnett HD springs from moto-racing. Got the plates put in too, saves changing it later anyway.

I went the Barnett conversion from Fluke. Figured I would try and get it right from the start and avoid needing to redo it again later.
If nothing else it looks good (while the cover is off)
