Oil

Was wondering. I've some bike engine oil but not enough for a full fill so wondered if it would be okay to chuck in some car oil I have (Duckhams 10w 40 I think?) just for the first start while I run some cleaner round it then drain it and refill with proper decent stuff.

Personally I wouldn't, car oil is full of additives that bike clutches don't like.

Fair enough. Didn't know what the difference was, additives and stuff. Don't wanna screw the engine before I've had chance to give it a run. Cheers.
