quite major blade problems
hi
my 918 blade has some carb problems it runs a bit rough
new plugs are going in tomorrow thats fair enough
the engine has been standing for a long time
Ive took the bottom of the carbs apart and there pretty much spotless
however problem 1 the mixture screws have been sheered off by someone before and they are seized solid Ive tried extractors they wont grip the brass
??
secondly when you run the engine two of the carbs seem to spray the fuel in nicely
one of them dribbles it in
and the other one seems to spray 50% more than the others ie TO much!
where shall I start

Possible a gummed up jet needle (I can never remember which way round needle jets and jet needles go).
But as said, if Yorkshire Engines have a set its probably cheaper than the repair job.

Yep, I agree I had this myself after hitting that car at the track, engine sat around for 6 months just take plenty of time to run it in (i.e. rake it
plenty) and it will probably un-block itself.
cheers

Having said all, that don't rake it enough that you blow your exhaust system apart with unburnt fuel!
Don't post when you're pissed eh?
