Mid engine solution?

Dear All

I’ve got the ideal solution for anybody trying to build a car engined midi. I have for sale a Hewland Mk9 gearbox, complete with all suspension and wishbones, driveshafts, hubs etc.. This setup will mount to the back of a chassis using only 4 bolts! The gearbox is 4 speed and comes with reverse – I also have a spare set of ratios.

The attached photo shows it still mounted to the back of my Swift single seater. I’m only selling this as I’m using a bike engine and Powertec diff in the car.

The photo is here

I haven't got a clue as yet!

Hewland boxes usually go for around the £800 plus mark. I guess with the suspension etc it'll be close to the £1k?

I've got a few people in the historic racing scene interested so I may go to eBay soon. All I really want to do is cover the costs of the conversion.
