As some of you might remember I had a problem with the fuelling on the Indy. A massive flat spot between 7 and 8K. I fitted a dynojet kit and that
helped a bit, but not enough. I then tried taking the needles as far up as they would go, which moved the flat spot to 7.5 - 8.5k.
At the trackday on Monday I met a guy who runs a ZZR1100 engine in a Jedi. I followed his advice and drilled out the main jets from 155 to 200!!
Fitted them tonight and what a difference. Pulls really strongly all the way to the redline, no hesitation, no flat spots. Sounds brilliant.
It's now finally got the performance to match the handling and looks!
Look out! Time to put some miles on it!
So far since getting my plates in November I have only managed 400 miles. I think that's going to be going up soon.
Cheers Mike

Mike,
Glad to hear you're sorted. Strange where the advice comes from - most unlikely sources.
I know what you mean about the mileage - only managed about 600 since Jan - that includes just going for a quick drive round the block (weather
irrelevant )
