Output flange to prop on Blade

Had a quick look at the gearbox adaptor / prop flange yesterday and it appears that the prop flange may actually be a bit close to the waterpump housing.

Without a prop its hard to be certain but has anybody else had issues with the generic adaptors which are floating around eBay?

Looks like I may need to reduce the diameter of the flange

My blade engine is a 97 RRV and the adaptor i have fits fine, i have offered up the sierra prop flange to it so i could get a better idea of the prop angle and nothing seemed to big to fit.
Also he adaptor i have is smaller than the sierra prop flange so im assuming when i come to order my prop ill be able to specify the PCD and flange diameter.

Yor flange diameter is dictated by the prop flange diameter / bolt pattern, which are generally Ford pattern. You can't turn it down without sourcing a different prop flange, so as long as youve got one that fits the standard Ford prop flange pattern, you should be fine.

I am led to believe the sliding section end of a BEC prop is off a reliant which might be smaller diameter

Im not sure it matters if its sliding or not, the back need to mate to the Ford diff so that size is fixed, and I thought the for the majority of supplied output shaft flanges, the front was also a Ford fitment (could be Reliant too I guess).
