urgent - Blackbird Ignition Pulse Generator Testing
Hi All
I'm trying to get my mate's Darrian running as he's about to head off to Scotland to sell it! The fault is either the CDI (doubtful
as this worked with the old engine in) or the ignition pulse generator - I need to test the ignition pulse generator (crank trigger) but the manual
suggests I need a peak voltage reader (£55 from Honda - more than a new ignition pulse generator!!). I gues the ignition pulse generator generates a
variable voltage which cannot be measured by a normal multimeter.
Any ideas?
