Header Design

Hi, I'm at the stage where I'm lookng into designing my exhaust system. In my case my engine is transverse (shaft drive Yamaha FJR1300). I'm undecided about having two seperate 2 - 1 headers, one down each side of the car, ot a 4 - 2- 1 design down the RHS.
Any idea which is better from a performance point of view?
Thanks
Rob

def

4-2-1 == mid range torque
4 - 1 == peak power (torque)

2 - 1 on each side will def cost bhp.

Saying that, i needed to do it...

Tks
