EFI R1 Solidworks model?

A very optimistic request, but boy would it save a ton of time!

Anyone have drawings?

It's a chicken-and-egg thing, to build a car you need to draw the parts, but to draw the parts you need the parts to measure. So you have to buy all the parts before anything can happen, which makes the upfront cost really high.

Right I want to stick to CAD, without spending a fortune on parts...

Kurt,

I spent quite a bit of time searching for one several months back with no luck.

Might be able to help you with some resources and dimensions if you decide to model it yourself.
