Tacho wiring

Morning all (or afternoon to you guys):

I’m having an issue where my Blade tacho is only reading half the revs. Of course I figured this out after bouncing off the rev limiter quite a few times (I thought I had a carb issue)! Anyway, I have a standard Westfield-modified Fireblade wiring loom (1998) and the standard fireblade clocks. Westfield must assume builders are using aftermarket tachometers…I remember reading somewhere in the past that it is a simple matter of wiring, but I have no idea what to do. Any suggestions?

--Thanks, Chris

Where is the pickup from ECU? It may be picking up from one coil only.

Yep, I'm feeding the tach using the yellow/green wire off the bike loom. Looking at Rich's diagram, it looks like this come out of the ECU. Any ideas on what could cause this problem?
