R1 Clutch spring upgrade issue

I've just added a 2nd clutch spring to my R1 engine, fitted as per the manual making sure the clutch arm was lined up properly.

Before it was fitted I could easily move it with the cable, now there isn't any free play at all in the clutch arm, I've put a big spanner on the end but the only movement feels like the linkage bending.

I've searched and others have had this problem but they've had free play and I have none in either direction.

the clutch arm needs to be attached to the pedal for the pivot to pull the cable properly

then youll get the true feeling

cant imagine youve done anything wrong
although on mine that little clutch lever one way is rock solid hence the pedal pulling it properly then if you disconnected the cable you could move the little lever backwards easily
