It's too noisy!
Popped up to Elvington today to get the man to point his noise tester at me. I knew the car was pretty loud but I wanted to make sure before paying
to book a track day.
The verdict? 112dBA Not a chance!
Guess I'll be looking to sort a new exhaust out then!
Seems such a shame to quieten it though - the noise was blissful on my hoon this afternoon

I had the same problem a couple of months ago.
I bought a Custom Chrome silencer at Stoneliegh and made an airbox.
It sounds much quieter now but has a nicer rasp to it thean before. I just need to get it noise tested again to see what teh level has rduced to.

Been wondering about this one for a while - slightly off subject - but .. if i unclip my exhaust and insert a close fit tube in to the silencer -
would i be able to chage the volume - note - etc by adjusting the damping of the silencer - or am i thinking complete twaddle......
cheers ...............
