Digi dash 2 lite gear indicator

Finally got speedo working and yes it was polarity of magnets (my old gauges must have been opposite) but having some trouble with gear indicator it just seems to flick between gears. Somtimes 2 OR 3 either side of the actual gear.

Any ideas.

Ben.

Is the speed reading steady ? I have only ever had very minor problems like yours sometimes hovering in between 5&6 when going slowly in 6th ?
I would guess it as too be speed output related.

The speed does seem a bit sensitive. Have checked against GPS and is quite accurate but is very difficult to hold at a constant speed.

Gear indicator is only accurate when the clutch is engaged...

If you have your foot on the clutch then it will be all over the place as its a calculated indicator...
