tacho output from CBR100F

Hi guys, need 'Another' question answering from u lot. Just fitted my old Omex sequental shift lights into my CBR1000F BEC. But im having trouble setting it up (it worked fine in my reno 5). I want to set the shift point at 10,000 Rpm, but I cant. I can get a shift point but when i alter it, It either goes off the scale (wont light up) or rests at tickover (constantly lights up). Im thinking it has something to do with the tacho output I am using. I think I read somewhere that this engine uses 2 sparks per ignition cycle to guarantee it ignited the fuel. Is this true? If so what is the tacho output type? Would I need to set the Shift lights to read a '8 cylinder' output?

Cheers.

Damn it, its a 1000F engine not 100F. der.
