I have a whole R1 manual I got from the internet - I'll check it when I get home tonight and let you know the year it's for (it has wiring diagrams as well as some general service information from what I can remember)

I have the Supplementary Service Manual for 2000 - 2002 (I think) R1 (4XV1 - AE2 models). It has a full wiring diagram at the back (black and white). If it's of use, let me know, I'll send it across to you.

There's some handy info here
I don't think there's a great difference between the 02 and 03.

Martin.

Id try and get hold of the updated (not 1st edition) Haynes manual if I were you, as the diagrams in the US sourced manuals you can find online are only about 90% right for UK spec bikes in my experience. There was a scan of the wiring diagram floating about somewhere so would be worth a search.

Chris

It sounds like you are in the same position as I was a few weeks back. Have a look at one of my previous threads and see if it helps.
