AB Performance sell 'blade engines and packages. I may be wrong, but I think in the past, they have sold new engines. However, their used engines, before being sold, are stripped down and checked for wear with mains and big end bearing shells normally being replaced as a matter of course. He normally fits uprated clutch springs and an additional friction plate to beef up the clutch.
May be worth talking to Andy Bates on 01284 703101

Andy will do you a fully rebuilt and blueprinted (ie optimised stock) carbed blade for around £1200 I think, which will also come with BEC friendly clutch internals etc. A lot of these spec are used in the RGB series, but he can also do cheaper engine packages if you dont want it blueprinted etc.
