Gear linkage
Anyone know the best place to get the rods and rod ends used for the gear linkages on a BEC, I want to fit the paddle shift kit over the winter so
will need to make up a new mechanism.

I would get the rod ends from e-bay or your local bearings supplier (M6 are big enough in my opinion).
B&Q do a good selection of aluminium rod or steel tube, not the cheapest but you can buy it by the meter!

For the rods I used 8mm bar and thredded it, The rod ends I got from Demon freaks,8mm Karting rod ends, Good enough and cheaper than some of the rose
joints.

Try Speedy cables. They will make push-pull cables with whatever ends you need.

Screwfix do stainless threaded rod by the metre. I got my ball joint type rod ends from richijenkin (or it may have been his brother ox) on this site.
Try a u2u for them.
