aftermarket spares
Is there such a thing as a bike equivalent to a local motor factor other than a main dealer?
Im after one for service items like filters etc rather than paying main dealer prices.

You mean a bike pattern parts supplier?
There's always http://www.patternparts.net/. Sure there's more...think M&P keep pattern

Yes, there's a place a guy at work uses, i'll ask him tomorrow,might be mail order only, unless you're close to them.

Large halfords stock bike filters, bike oil, bike batteries etc.

Why risk a pattern filter when new ones are only about £8 a piece? Saying that, I use K&N oil filters as they're pre-drilled for lock-wiring
but are of course excellent quality.....
