Fitting Dynojet to 893 blade

Just going to fit the dynojet kit to my blade 'cause I bought it ages ago so thought I may as well give it a go!

Just wondering what difference will it make in hp and any other benefits.

I know there's loooaaads more to a good car than bhp and the engine but not being a biker I am not really an expert on the advantages of a dynojet kit so thought I'd ask!

ta,
Rich.

"Stage 1 kits are fully adjustable to allow the use of a well designed aftermarket pipes and stock replacement air filters like K&N. Stage 1 kits are designed to improve throttle response and driveability and in most cases power increases of approximately 5 percent throughout the entire power range can be achieved. "

Freeflow filters and fancy pipes uually create a weak mixture. At best performance is worse than standard, at worst you melt your pistons.
Thats about it really mate !

Hi Col,

Thanks mate! now I'm wondering whether to bother!!

Maybe I'll just take my kit and go to TTS and get them to put it on the dyno, fit the kit and a sausage filter and jet it correcttly!!

Sounds like it will be a worthwhile trip!

How are you mate??

Rich.

better rich than lean! When i first got my zx9 running it was lean, hesitating as it throttled up. Instead of fitting a dynojet i just drilled the main jets up a little, seemed to sort it nicely.

Assuming you already have a free-flowing filter and a good exhaust, it might be lean already, hence worth sorting.

Not so bad thanks, still a bit iffy at work. The two for one, offers still on for a trip to TTs though , mine deparatly needs doing, as all I've done is set it really rich to avoid the melted pistons

at the moment I believe it's all standard apart from has a K&N filter in the standard air box, obviously exhaust is MK exhaust.

Speak to TTS before you buy a Dynojet kit - they may already produce one for a kit car installation. One of these will save you a big lump on dyno time!
