Fitting Dynojet kit to 893 blade
Right,
Decided to go for it tonight and started fitting the dynojet kit, all going fine and will put the e-clip on the needles in groove 2 with old washer
below and washer from kit above clip.
Then can anyone confirm the next steps as I'm fine with fitting the main jets (128) but after that I am not sure what to drill or block off!!
If anyone could describe the steps I would be eternally grateful!!
It's probably actually quite easy but I've never done it before and don't want to get it wrong!
thanks,
Rich.

hi rich i take it your on about the main air jets that need blocking. if you look from the back of the carbs through the venturi there are 3 brass
stubs with holes, you need to block the tallest one in the centre (IIRC) its the one inline with the needle the tts kit should have a drill and 4
small brass plugs to drill and block the jets
just remeber grove 2 is second from the top and be careful refitting the diaphrams i find it easier to turn them down towards the needle then put them
in their grooves then guide the needle into the jets and refit the springs and tops etc

I know absolutely nothing about this as I am not yet ready to do this job, but I saved this post a month or so ago, and it may be of use to you.

My kit makes no mention of blocking any holes, only drilling out the holes in the vacuum slideslide

reman
do you have a standard dynojet kit or a car specific kit for use with a foam sausage filter, the standard kit is for use with honda airbox.

I think mine kit is actually for a bike so I am not going to bother drilling the holes out in the vaccum slide, just block the main air jet using
metal epoxy as suggested by Mark at MAC1.
thanks guys,
Rich.
