poly bushes for engine cradle

Evenin'
I am looking to make up an engine mounting cradle to support my R1. I am looking for some suitable poly bushes as I would prefer not to solidly mount the cradle so could anyone recommend any suitable options at all?? I like the look of the Mac#1 cradle bushes having had a look at Steve's (worX) at the weekend - anyone know what they use??

Cheers
Paul

My ST uses standard suspension polybushes on the engine cradle.
Think there are some pics in my archive.

You are better off solidly mounting..

But if you insist, suspension polybushes can be used..

Thanks chaps. Any suggestions for decently sized bushes to use?? I have been looking at some BL mini front lower arm bushes but am still waiting for a reply (ebay) on dimensions and if they are tapered as they look in certain pictures.

Try Deflex here

Cheaper than Superflex or the others

Hi the suspension bushes that most use.

Where originaly intended for such applications as mounting engines and gearboxes in hotrod/dragsters.

They were never used as suspension bushes untill locost manufacturers came along and saw a cheap alternative to doing the job properly.

See HERE For a link to original suppliers.

cheers matt
