R1 05 gaskets and tools
Where is the best place to buy a sump and clutch cover gasket from ?
Also I am going to need a clutch basket tool, unless someone has another way of doing the clutch. I am changing it to a Barnett.
Cheers in advance

Are you converting to a Barnett pressure plate? If so you don't need to take the basket out so shouldnt need any special tools.
As for gaskets, Yamaha dealers are the only place Ive got mine from before, but ring them first as they generally need to order them in, and Yamaha
take a few days to deliver it to the dealers

I am changing the clutch plates in the basket plus new springs that are needed for the barnett.
I haven't got the engine out of the delivery box yet, but I am just getting things together for the new build.
Sump baffle is already waiting!

No special tools necessary then, unless the 05 is substantially different to the 03 clutch assembly

When you come to do the baffle drill out a hole for the level sensor (I made mine 34mm) saves messing about removing the sensor. Don't
understand why they don't make the baffle with the hole in to begin with.

Mine is the 05 engine and the baffle has already got this cut out, although it is pretty pointless.
In a bec, by the time the oil level is that low, it is too late to do anything.
