Let the madness begin....!

Hi all,

Just wanted to share my good news.... I took delivery today of my Striker chassis etc from Raw

I sure you will hearing alot more from me know I have some work to do, I have an 05 R1 engine as the power plant from Malc @ Yorkshire engines (Top bloke) hooking up to a Sierra LSD diff.

Anyway let the madness begin...!

Oh yeh have you heard of that owners club " BEC OWNERS CLUB"


Also how much did you pay for the R1 engine?

Yours will be a tad different to mine though - mine is 21 in May!

Thanks guys.... Will post some pics tomorrow or Sat, Paid £1500 for complete engine kit, not too bad a price as its in A1 condition.

Planning on completing for next Summer so hope thats not too ambitious ?

I like the R1 Striker. They're a great looking car and have the best proportions of any seven style car IMO. Good luck with the build.

Congrats Kosmo,

I collect my new striker chassis on monday (my second). Had a look at yours last week. I was amazed how much lower your 05 engine sits compared to my current 02 engine.
Your full cage looks great. I chickened out of that and just went for side impact bar on this one.
I'm hoping to do a buid diary for this one if i ever find time.

Hi I did build my Toyota engined Striker in 3 months!

Then spent the next year re-doing everything properly and now on my 3rd engine and 3rd re-build now I actually know what I'm doing
