blade troubles

hi
just wondered if anyone could help. Got a ST with a 98 blade engine. The revs upto about 7k are all lumpy and bumpy. After 7k they go all right.
Any ideas

could maybe do with a bit more info...

Is it fitted with a dynojet kit? Sausage filter? etc.

From this you could probably start eliminating things like too much air flowing in (and the like)...

cheers,
Steve.

Sorry
No its not fitted with a dynojet kit or sausage filter. Its just got sock filters and i thinks the jets have been upped from 115 to 132 if that helps
Thanks
Just forgot to mention its been running fine with this set up for six months now its just happened today

well I am only speaking from passed on information so take what I write with a pinch of salt, but I was led to believe that sock fiters are Not the best with the Blade engine.
I understand that it has been running fine for 6months...

the other thing to check is if your main air jets have been correctly blocked off - it may be one of these things that is now letting in too much air?

in case you need to know which one should be blocked off when fitted with larger main jets, check here:
