Would like to buy an expansion tank ASAP
Prior to sorting out my Fazer 1000 cooling issue I'm on the lookout for all the parts I'll need...
My present cooling system is closed-circuit having no expansion tank.
Can anyone suggest a nice (and relatively cheap) tank to use and where to get it from. I presume there are metal tanks too rather the the bog standard
plastic ones?
Many thanks in advance

get one from a rover 200 bubble shape. They are quite flat and can be installed high under the bonnet. Mine cost £2 from local scrappy.

I got a very nice vw polo plastic ball one from the scrappy, well made with a very large cap.

MK2 Astra for £5 from scrappy for me. Ideal for fitting high up on the scuttle bulk head in the engine bay, easy pipe connections/routing directions
(for a Pinto).
If you want to splash out on an ally one, have alook at the likes of Pace etc. £££££ for something you can't see whilst driving though

theres people on here and ebay who do custom tanks, i think they are around £50. Id use plastic on mine if i could find one that fitted, only get a
custom one if i had to.
