Any clutch experts out there?
New FP engine fitted has loads of play on the clutch center basket (hoping thats the cause of me stuggling to get Neutral / clutch drag?)
Could I ask anyone familiar with bike clutches...push type.
What is the center nut actually thread onto?
Struggling to get the nut off, once off it will be obvious, but until then..
My old '88 engine center basket is rock solid.
There are difference :- the center nuts are different and the FP only has 1 thrust Washer
Even with my limited knowledge Im guessing the play aint right!
Stoneleigh suddenly seems yet another year away
Oh and when manual states never reuse center nut (staked) - is that never never?

If you have to do to the clutch nut what I had to do to get it off you won't be able to re-use it!!!!
Cheap to buy a new one (£2 for a ST1100).....
