First competition event
I finally had my first competitive even, which the car did horribly. I had my tire pressure way off and could never get any grip on the sealed asphalt
surface.
I'll use events like these to test and tune the car, then do open track days toward the end of the summer.
Clicky!
I look forward to your comments.

What sort of event was that? It looked like an autotest but there was no backwards action in the vid.
On the exterior shots it looks like an LSD would help you get some traction. The inside wheel was spinning up.

Looks like the car did quite well. I reckon the driver went through some of the cones the wrong way.

Nice, I really like the 'stealth' look of your car. Would have been nice to have sound on the video rather than the music though!

Thanks for the comments! Truth is, the car was very difficult to drive well. I think it was a combination of not racing for 5 years, a sh_tty surface,
and street tires--the stickiest street tires in the US, but street tires nonetheless. I'll get it sorted though.
The driver in the video is actually my brother. Those runs were actually clean. I'm the one who mowed through a line of cones when I locked up
the tires.
An LSD will certainly help! I have the 7.5" Ford diff. Besides Quaiffe, any other suggestions for an LSD? Because of the surface, i could never
use all of my power nor all my brakes. Frustrating.
I screwed the sound up early in the edit process. Once this was done, there was no way to go back. When I edit the movie of me driving, I'll
make sure to NOT disassociate the audio track from the video
Thanks for the comment about the car. I went with flat black all round. The front wings are carbon, though.

Having done a few of those carpark events in South Africa the surface is all ways very greasy as cars standing in one place drop a lot of liquids of
one sort or another. The other biggest issue is that those white lines are very slippy and in the video there seemed to be a lot of them. Not as much
problem for the heavier cars but a seven has a very light footprint and that can be the differance.
Limited slip would also help a lot.
Try heating the tyre up before run.
Nice vid pity the comprression on google is so high.
Cant wait to get mine out of this wshop
