Sidestand switch query
hi
cant get a spark on my blade engine
turns over etc fine pump primes etc
the bloke before me had made a bit of a botch of the wiring
Ive found the clutch switch and joined the wires
I cant find the sidestand wires
I can find the down wire which makes the sidestand light come on when you earth it
is the sidestand switch on the same circuit as clutch switch it looks it and its the same colour?

Im pretty sure you only have to bridge one or the other to get it to turn over, not spark. Is this a new build/conversion or has it just decided to
happen?
Also what blade lump is it?

double check that all the right connections are in the right places! as thats the schoolboy error ive just done! found the wrong connector to the
coils last night, and put it right! all of a sudden i had sparks! wahoo!
Have you got or bridged the bank angle sensor (if the 919 has one?), have you got power supply to the coils?

started to sort the wiring
basically theres two pins per coil
if I put the 12v ign to one side which is correct then touch a test bulb to the spade connector on the other side it lights up
this happens on both coils and surely isnt right?

mines different to yours as ive got the 954cc lump, which has a single coil for each plug. But Im pretty sure the coil should only have power when
there needs to be a spark?
