Oil cooler question

I've got my Polo radiator for my MNR / R1........

Question....

Will I need an oil cooler with this set up ?

No. The R1 uses the coolant to cool the oil. There is a takeoff from the oil filter (13mm bore) that needs to be plumbed into the cooling system.

If you are going to use it for track-days or just hard thrashing I would. Cheaper to fit it now than pay for a cooked engine. Shouldn't be too difficult - don't R1s have oil coolers anyway?
