Where to get?
Right, after a sump baffle for a 5JJ lump 2001 and some uprated clutch springs for my newly aquired engine.
Where have other people got theirs from?
Would prefer the sump baffle that doesn't need any drilling/tapping to be done.
Cheers
Ben
You couldn't pwn your way out of a wet paper bag, with "PWN ME!!" written on it, from the "pwned take-away" which originally contained one
portion of chicken tikka pwnsala and the obligatory free pwnpadom.

I got my 4XV baffle through MNR. I'd bet they'd do a 5jj one for you. It is held on by being sandwiched between the block and the oil
pickup pipe / oil transfer pipe / block drain pipe which are just bolted on.

Contact Jonathon Rarity, he makes the CNC machine'd baffle plate (which I think Fluke Motorsport
sell) and very nice they are too, fitted perfectly to my 5PW with no fettling at all.
As to clutch springs, have you done a Barnett spring conversion or are you still using the stock diaphragm spring? If the latter then I think your
only real options are to double up on the standard diapragm spring, or to try and source a YEC (Yamaha Race team) uprated one.

Jonathon Rarity's baffle plates can be found
here.
Another thumbs up from me!
Re. clutch springs - my 5JJ has had well over 6000 miles of abuse with a standard clutch and is still ok! This includes many trackdays.....

Will that fit a 5JJ engine?
I was not going to bother with a bafle, but I've been reliably informed that I need one...

The one on ebay won't as its for the 04-07 engines, but contact Jonathon as he does ones for earlier engines too.
