MotaLeira Progress....Lack of !!!
I took my tube templates to a firm in Morland Rd Addiscombe called Chain Stream to have them roll me some nice side rails in 1 1/2" 16 gauge
tube.
The showed me and boasted about their catering van roll cages and said I would have my tube in a week.
That was 4 weeks ago!
Each time I rang I got a different excuse: "We are going to get some new rollers", " We have the material to make new rollers"
, "I am cutting your tube right now", " Sorry we are very busy" etc.
All lies.
My advice is to stay clear of these liars.
I still now have to find someone else etc.
Looks like thise has/will put a 6 week delay on my build.
I would have had the chassis almost finished by now

That's a bit of an ar$e. Have you been to get your templates back yet? Might be worth having a quiet word with one of the blokes there, rather
than whoever answers the phone?

I am picking up the templates tomorrow.
Unfortunately the person who answers the phone is the boss. Everybody there just points anyone to him on arrival.
