It can be done yourself and a few have done it themselves successfully. Ours originated from (despite what our website says) Z Cars.

Maybe have a word with IMP PAUL or Athoirs on here, they've done their own - both nice chaps and very knowledgeable.

The only thing I would advise if doing it yourself it to use steel baffles as aluminium will expand and contract and come loose and possibly crack and cause damage by not working correctly.

There are a few pictures on our website in Rebuild Diary/ February 13th. I'm afraid thats all the pictures I got at the time and have no more. Basically chopped sump, modded pickup and PRV and baffle plates. Ours has seen maybe 8 trackdays/drag days where it has been driven very hard, but has not once faultered.

Excellent choice of engine, I'd be surprised if you said you were disappointed with it. Treat her to a good service with nice new oil frequently and she'll reward you well.
