Clutch switch?

im using the loom from my doner bike in the mongoose, ive come across the clutch switch which goes to the clutch lever. What the hell do i do with it? im using a different clutch master cylinder so cant plug it back in. What have others done with it?

The clutch switch is part of the safety circuit on the bike. It goes something like, you can't start the engine unless the side stand is up, the clutch is in or you are in neutral. Prevents you starting it in gear and looking a cock.

Just work out whether it needs to be earthed or open for your engine to start / run and either fix it to the earth or wrap it in insulation tape and leave it.

Do you have the wiring diagram for your engine?

thats great then so it can be bypassed. i have the wiring diagram but not on me right now.
