air filter

im building a new airbox for my zx12 but im unsure whether to have a panel filter fitted inside or put a cone type filter on the inlet to the airbox

your thoughts please

I'd show you a picture of my airbox (cone type filter) but after that alloy TIGd porn photo I'd only embarrass myself

FWIW its usually easier to use a cone filter. I made the airbox out of CF. My first design was just a straight box with a 56mm fuel filler funnel on the side. Attach a 56mm cone filter and voila...

my airbox im using is made of ply and alloy to the size specified by a chap who used to race then
ive got to get my new one welded together somewhere and ill post a piccy
