R1 Cut Out
Ive finally sorted my clutch pedal out today on the car and when putting it into gear the engine cuts out. Does anyone know what is causing this?
I have wired the blue/black sidestand wire direct to eart and have joined the yellow/blue and black/yellow together.

am i right in thinking the two wires for this are black (earth) and the blue and black cable.

Ive connected the sidestand switch so that the blue/black and the black wires are together , when doing a continuity test from the ecu to the relay
this is showing up as connected as it should be. The engine still cuts out. I then disconnected the blue/black and left it unconnected , again it
starts but cuts out when first gear is selected. Should the sidestand switch have 12v on it, as mine doesnt?

I had exactly the same problem... I pulled my loom apart and checked it and it was all OK, it ended up being the cut out relay that had failed ! £28
for a new one and all OK, I'm not saying you have the same problem but if may be worth trying if you could get hold of one for testing.
