911 replicas? Wouldn't it be almost cheaper to get a used real one?
probabily would be, but i like the idea of building a car and also going mid engined with it for better weight distribution and to also use my one of
my 2wd audi boxs
but its looking like my time is going to be used converting a audi coupe gt (2wd) into a quattro so im kinda going of the idea of a 911
Mid-engined are often tricky to get good weight distrubution in. They tend to be something like 40-60, and that's quite far from the ideal 60-40.
but is not also to do with polar movement. i was also under the idea that having the engine between the axle lines was best because of this
The VW Beetle, the 911 and the Covin all have RR configuration, not MR.
In my opinion the best design is probably the MF layout, but it's quite complicated and impractical and I guess that's why so few automakers
use it.
lotus 7 alikes are all mid front engined. arent they?
nah i want to build a 911 look alike mid rear engined for better weight distribution and all that goes along with it
