Cheers

Not a national chain but I used a local motor factors who have the licence and equipment. 10 minutes while you wait. You could see if there's anyone local to you.

The last time I got some done at Halfrauds I think I had to go away and come back a while later

Halfords did mine whie I waited - can't remember the cost, but I didn't really care at the time Just hapy to be plated and legal witha full tank of fuel and nothing else to do but rack up some miles

halfords; number plates have to have the manufacturer's details on the bottom now, which look horrible IMO. Halfords however, etch it into the clear plastic, so its only visible really close up.
gives that clean look. Plus they last longer than cheap ones, plus you get them while you wait

get them online, you wont have manufacturer's details on it then.

Yeah, i have to admit i got them via a site advertising on ebay for the tintop.

I tried to get some from a highstreet shop but i had only recently bought the car (with taped together number plates) and the woman wouldnt do them off the back of the little stip you get claiming she needed to see the full V5 i didnt yet have.
