Is it 3 years after SVA or 3 years after first registration? Mine is coming up soon but I haven't had a reminder. I passed the SVA on the 9th of December but the car wasn't registered until the 31st.

3 years after first registered and yes, you can book an MOT at anytime, even without the reminder.

Just passed it's first MOT a couple of weeks back. That makes the Indy 3 years old

No issues at MOT, sailed straight through

You get a small reminder on the tax disc renewal thingy that you need an MOT from a certain date.

Go by the date on the V5! Everyone else does

No, you don't get a reminder about MOT... just fell foul of that one with the tintop

Some garages send you a reminder if your car is on there system. Thats what ours does
