Hiya all.
Was at the Exeter show over the weekend (what a great show!) and whilst looking over a couple of the kits there a thought occured to me (it does
occasionally happen)
There were a few kits there fitted with the projector style headlights. As far as I could see none of these had the E11 (?) marking on the lenses. I
was under the impression that headlight lenses had to have the E marking to pass SVA or have I got the smelly end of the stick again?

Was a good one wasn't it! Had a good old day on Saturday!
Perhaps these cars had passed the SVA and tragically their lights had "fallen off" and newer types fitted without E marking?
As far as I'm aware it's only ever been beam allignment checked at MOT time?
i seem to remember that just the usual sharp edges, dip and beam pattern applies
For mainline manufacturers, they have to have a auto levelling system and washers, dunno if this would apply to self builds?

Have a chat with Russ Bost, he supplies projector lamps that are E marked.
See Warner R4 Build Diary thread for some pics
