
hi all, i have put a battery isolater swicth in, so when it is off there is no power any where, and the hazzards have to work all the time do not
they, does than mean i need to put a permaint live to the hazards from the battery? or will it be ok for sva?

put a line fuse across the isolator switch
well i have brought one of thoses all ready but i was just making sure that there was a need for one. what size fuse do you reckon it should be?
10 amp will do it,carry a spare tho ,if you forget and go to start,it will pop

I put my isolator on the starter feed for SVA purposes so it can preven the engine from starting and not effect any of the other electrics
SVA manual just seems to say that the hazards must work with the ignition in the off or on position.
Why do you need to switch the isolator off during sva?

My F1-2 passed with an Fia switch which killed everything. They didn't check it with it off. On the MotaLeira I plan to put the lights and hazards off the battery (via a fuse) as although the F1-2 passed I want to be able to leave the hazards/lights on if I walk away from the car and take the fia key with me.
sounds like a bit of a grey area (but I;ve not looked int he manual).;
My isolator cuts off the battery - the hazards won't work when the switch is out and that passed SVA.
it does seem a bit grey area, it is just if i pass everythink eles and fail on that it would be realy p**s me off, type of thing.
best be safe than sorry and any way after the the fuse will come out as i do not my lights being truned on when i am not with the car.lol
