DVLA Birmingham local office, has it moved?

I've just been looking up DVLA offices to see if there is an alternative to the useless one in Birmingham. I noticed that they're showing an address and postcode accross the road from the SVA centre in Garrets Green. There are directions to there from Edward House, the old DVLA centre. Have they moved? Are they about to move? What is the chance of getting a DVLA inspection on the same day as an SVA appointment, given that you can drive to one but not the other?

When I did mine they did the built up inspection at VOSA on the Elmdon trading estate by the airport. They did not do it at the same time as SVA as the Local DVLA office makes the appointment for the built up inspection for you at the time you take your SVA certificate and the rest of your registration docs to them.
I hope they have changed it cos it was a pain in the ar*e
Cheers.
Steve.

Yes, that's right. The DVLA inspection is about a mile from the SVA centre in a stright line accross the airport. Wouldn't it be so much easier if they could be done on the same day in the same location.

Still, at least there seems to be parking at the new DVLA office.
