Cant answer your question.... but what sort of prices have they been giving you?
when i was 19 i got my first insurance from footman James. link
I think for my westy i used graham skyes link
I found back then putting a parent on the insurance helped - even though they i did not trust them to drive it!!!
Also try Osbourne and Sons link
Hi Will
You could look at Footman James and Graham Sykes as alternatives.
One thing I would say is how good they are at MSM. They are what I would call "Old Fashion Brokers", a small concern I would guess and you
can always get through to the same person who really knows what they are talking about and isn't speaking from a script.
I've just terminated my Insurance with them (I've just sold the Phoenix) and I actually got a refund. I have never come across this with any
of the so called mainstream insurers.
I also think that in the event of a claim, MSM would be very good to be with. I did compare them with AF and although they were slightly dearer this
was offset for me by the confidence I had in them.
Best of luck with whichever you choose.

don't use AAA as when I had my crash in the Falcon they argued every point, offered peanuts for the car which I eventually got them to accept the right amount but they could have not been more unhelpful
Liking this weeks Avatar MR whippy... do you have it in a higher res? Would make a cracking desktop
put any woman on the insurance as second driver, mum, gran, sister, bird
i ended up going with msm today, graham sykes and footman james etc wouldnt touch me till im 25 odd
might try putting a chick on to see if itll drop down...
it will do, put my mum as 2nd driver on my BMW, brought it down by about £100
Try all you can find, because they all seem to be good for some people, bad for others. For example I wouldn't go to Osborne on principle because they had build-up insurance money from me on the basis that the balance of the year's premium would be deducted from "full" insurance when I was on the road. The on the road insurance was so uncompetitive that I went elsewhere
