Fog Light Indication
Macbeast - 8/1/09 at 09:50 AM

I have Delta switches which have internal illumination.

Presumably these need to be lit up at night so I can find them. Only problem is fog light - I can wire it so it comes on with the fog light or I can wire it so it comes on with the other lighting at night but then how do I know the light is on or off ?

Do I need a separate fog light on indicator ?

None of the switches in my tintop light up at night.

You definitely need a light that only comes on when the fog light is on.
I don't believe it's correct to have a fog light symbol lit when the light is off - though that might be more arguable with a tester if you have a proper telltale elsewhere.

As above, my Delta switch is not lit (but all others are,) when the head lights are on. The fog light switch is only lit when the fog light is on.

Ok guys - thanks.

Whippy - would radioactive luminous paint be acceptable for SVA if it were in the safe area behind the steering wheel ?
