t16turbotone - 13/1/09 at 07:52 PM

hi folks, ime about 3/4 way through the build, ime aware iva is taking over sva, am i right in saying i should complete forms and take for sva, even for a fail? does this mean then that the car, will only ever be tested after that, with sva rules? (if you get my jist)

If you take the SVA test and fail
you have 6 months to get it passed.

Just be careful, not sure if you took a car that obviously woulnd't pass, if they can refuse to test it, then think you'd have to re apply.

Yes, but the tester can refuse to test it if it isn't ready. Or I think, if you get so far through the test and the car breaks down and he can't go on, it doesn't count as a fail (I think).
