Can anyone just please confirm what the exact dimensions are and also how the sva inspector will check them..?
Also, i'm trying to mount my r1 clocks somewhere, and not sure if they will be fully visible behind the wheel..?
I'm in a similar position to this thread
click
and don't really want to recess them into the dash, so could i build a foam/mdf surround around them that could say fall off after sva? If so
what are the key dimensions that the surround will need to be?
Thanks and any help/pics greatly appreciated.

I made a frame with perspex in the middle. All nicely chamfered with a router and recessed for the flush fitting perspex.
Stuck it on with double sided sticky tape.
I left it at mac#1 after my SVA, unfortunately it never survived their huge BBQ.

FYI the interior maximum radius is 2.5mm. The inspector will use a radius gauge which is a small rectangular piece of steel with the corner notched out to a 2.5mm radius.

Sorry, I didn't write that too well. I was doing two things at once. He most likely will but didn't with mine personally as there's nothing obscured/obstructed so he went straight in with the gauge. My bike clocks were an obvious fail due to the clock bezels despite my plea that that was how they are standard.
